Teekay LNG Partners is set to begin the operation of the Bahrain LNG project before the end of 2019.
The project is developed under a Build-Own-Operate-Transfer (BOOT) model.
The facility will be located offshores east of Khalifa Bin Salman Port (KPSP) and will comprise a Floating Storage Unit (FSU), a breakwater, a marine jetty island with separate berths for the FSU and the LNG Carriers, regasification platform, onshore receiving facility, interconnecting pipelines, and associated utilities and infrastructure.
