Two bids have been received by EWA from ACWA Power, and Sumitomo. In August, it was announced that ACWA Power (SIDEM as EPC contractor) had submitted the lowest offer for the Al Dur 2 IWPP Project.
Back in May 2017, EWA issued a request for qualifications for the independant water and power project.
This project fits into EWA’s long term plan to increase the capacity of the existing site.
