Suomen Hyötytuuli Oy has made an investment decision to build a 93 MW Oosinselkä wind farm in Pori and its neighboring municipality Eurajoki, both located in Satakunta, Western Finland.
The value of the investment is approximately EUR115 million (US$125.1 million). The construction work will start in the spring of 2022, and the wind farm is expected to reach full operation at the end of 2023.
The planned wind farm will consist of 15 turbines, with total production power of 93 MW. 5 of the wind turbines are in Pori and 10 in Eurajoki. The company has signed a turbine supply contract with Vestas for EnVentus V162-6.2 MW turbines. Negotiations on other contracts are ongoing.
