Statkraft and ABO Wind have concluded a ten-year power purchase agreement (PPA) for the 86.6 MW Pajuperänkangas wind project in Finland. Statkraft has also received the rights to the Guarantees of Origins of the electricity produced.
The project will be made of up to 14 Vestas V162 turbines with a hub height of 169 meters and are scheduled to be connected to the grid in autumn 2023. It is expected to produce enough electricity to supply approximately 14,000 electricity-heated Finnish households.
Construction of the foundations is scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2022.
