Southwest Generation Operating Co agrees to acquire 575 MW Coolidge Generating Station from TransCanada
TransCanada Corp has signed a deal with a unit of Southwest Generation Operating Co. for the sale of its 575 MW Coolidge Generating Station located in Arizona, USA for a total consideration of US$465 million.
The facility is a natural gas-fired peaker power plant. It has a long-term power purchased agreement (PPA) deal structured.
