Soltec has secured a contract to supply solar trackers for the 83 MW solar photovoltaic project located in the Minas Gerais region, Brazil.
The project is owned by Mercury Renew, Solatio and Sunrise. Soltec will supply 1,366 pieces of one-in-portrait (1P) arrays and over 154,000 modules for the project. The solar PV plant will be installed on 150 hectares (370.7 acres) of land.
The project is expected to generate enough energy to power over 40,000 households avoiding the emission of 156,206 metric tons of CO2 into the atmosphere.
