Spain’s Getxo headquartered Solarpack Corporación Tecnológica, S.A. has secured US$91 million loan financing from KfW IPEX-Bank GmbH for the development of Granja Solar photovoltaic project near Pozo Almonte in northern Chile. The loan documentation was signed in December 2018.
Solarpack will be responsible for the building, owning and operating the project. Following completion, Granja Solar will have a total installed capacity of 123 MWp.
Watson Farley & Williams has advised KfW IPEX-Bank GmbH on the financing.
