Solaria Energía y Medio Ambiente, S.A has inaugurated 110 MW solar PV Complex in Castilla y León, Spain.

The PV complex is composed of three PV power plants, “Santiz I”, “Guleve-Palacios del Arzobispo” and “Lerapa-Vadelosa I", all located in Salamanca province. The PV complex is expected to produce 220 GWh per year, equivalent to the consumption of 67,000 households per year.

During the construction, more than 1,000 jobs have been created and 328,050 modules installed in more than 260 hectares of land.

The energy fed into the grid by the PV plants included in these contracts will be 100% renewable and will reduce the CO2 emissions to the atmosphere by more than 44,000 tons per year, thus helping to reach the targets of the Renewable European Directive 2009/28/EC to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
