Solar Wadi has issued a request for submission of expression of interest (REOI) seeking developers for the development of an 86 MW to 100 MW solar photovoltaic (PV) project in Sohar Industrial City, Oman. The solar farm will be designed for the site's self-consumption, preventing any export of electricity to the grid.
Applicants may be single businesses, joint–ventures, consortia, partnerships, or other combinations of business entities. Interested parties have until January 26, 2023, to register interest. Solar Wadi anticipates awarding the EPC contract this June.
