California-based provider of ground-mount fixed-tilt systems for utility-scale solar projects, SOL Components, has installed the mounting systems for a 213 MWp solar photovoltaic facility near Herald in Sacramento County.
The project is being built on a decommissioned nuclear plant and consists of up to 500,000 solar panels.
SOL Components has provided a racking system that is appropriate for the steep terrain environment of the project.
