Singapore's National Water Agency PUB is carrying out assessments to determine the viability of deploying two floating solar photovoltaic projects to utilize the city-state’s reservoirs in generating up to 144 MWp combined capacity.
The authority has identified the Lower Seletar Reservoir and Pandan Reservoir as potential sites to develop the 100 MWp and 44 MWp floating solar projects, respectively.
These plans have been put forward after the commissioning of the 60 MW floating solar PV project at the Tengeh Reservoir which was developed by Singapore-based energy company Sembcorp Industries.
