Sembcorp has started the commercial operation of the 60 MW floating solar photovoltaic project located on the Tengeh reservoir in Singapore.
The project consists of 12,556 units of its 210 Vertex dual-glass modules supplied by Chinese manufacturer Trina Solar Co Ltd.
The floating solar PV farm can generate up to 77.3 million kWh of energy per year and can offset about 57,700 tonnes of carbon emission.
