Southern California Edison has signed a Power Purchase Agreement deal for seven energy storage projects with a combined capacity of 195 MW located in Ventura, Santa Barbara, California, USA
The Projects involved are:
- 14 MW energy storage project (Company: Swell)
- 10 MW energy storage project (Company: E.on)
- 100 MW energy storage project (Company: Strata)
- 11 MW energy storage project (Company: Able Grid)
- 10 MW energy storage project (Company: Ormat)
- 40 MW energy storage project (Company: AltaGas)
- 10 MW energy storage project (Company: Enel)
The Projects are expected to be operational between December 2020 and March 2021.
