Samsung C&T has created a joint venture with Lilama for a US$940 million engineering, procurement, and construction contract to develop one of Vietnam's first liquefied natural gas-fueled power plants (LNG).
The contract will entail the construction of two 750 MW power plants, Nhon Trach 3 and 4, on an existing location in Dong Nai's southern province.
The projects are expected to be operational by 2025.
