State-owned electric service company PetroVietnam Power Corporation has launched an engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) tender for the design, development, purchase, construction, installation, and operation (mixed - EPC) of Nhon Trach 3 and Nhon Trach 4 Power Plants with a contract implementation time of 1,095 days.
The LNG Nhon Trach 3 and 4 gas power projects are expected to have a scale of 2 x 750 MW (or 800 MW) with a combined cycle gas turbine configuration. It is expected that Nhon Trach 3 Power Plant will enter commercial operation by the fourth quarter of 2023 and Nhon Trach 4 power plant will be commercially operated in the second quarter of 2024.
The bid package is expected to open on July 6, 2021, with the bid-guaranteed value is VND370 billion (US$16.06 million).
