Ridge Clean Energy has submitted a planning application to East Riding of Yorkshire Council for the 25.2 MW, six-turbine Three Oaks Renewable Energy Park Extension, an onshore wind project between Thornholme and Haisthorpe in East Riding of Yorkshire, England.

The Three Oaks Renewable Energy Park Extension, a proposed six-turbine onshore wind farm located between Thornholme and Haisthorpe, would add up to 25.2MW of wind generation capacity alongside the consented Three Oaks Renewable Energy Park. The combined energy park will create a hybrid renewable energy development of 39 MW solar PV, 50 MWH BESS and onshore wind technologies. The project would include 6 wind turbines (each with a maximum tip height of up to 149.9 metres). The site would be accessed from the A614, using the local road network.

The proposal, if approved, would establish a Community Benefit Fund worth approximately £126,000 annually, totaling more than £5 million over the project's 40-year operational life. The fund is intended to support a Local Energy Discount Scheme for nearby residents while also financing community, environmental, and other local development initiatives. The planning application was submitted following comprehensive environmental studies, technical assessments, and stakeholder engagement, including public consultation events held in Burton Agnes, Carnaby, and Rudston, to gather feedback from local communities.
