Rezolv Energy buys majority stake in 450 MW wind project in Bucharest

Low Carbon has sold Rezolv Energy a 51% share in the 450 MW Vis Viva wind project located in Bucharest, Romania.

The Vis Viva wind farm will take advantage of the region's natural wind resources, flat topography, and energy interconnections to significantly contribute to the European Union's 2030 and 2050 environmental targets. The facility has the capacity to produce enough electricity to supply over 270,000 homes.

Low Carbon and Rezolv Energy expect to achieve financial close by Q1 of 2023.
