Daiwa Energy & Infrastructure Co., RENOVA Inc. Ltd. and Mitsubishi Materials Corporation have announced that a geothermal resource survey has begun for FY2022 with the goal of developing a geothermal power plant in the Esan District of Hakodate, Hokkaido, Japan.
A special-purpose company, Hakodate Esan Geothermal G.K., is set up to work on this project. The survey will run until February 2023.
