PJSC RusHydro and the Hevel group of companies have signed an agreement providing for the construction of a solar power plant on the territory of the Nizhne-Bureyskaya hydropower plant. The power of the new solar power plant (SES) will be 1.275 MW, commissioning is scheduled for the end of 2019. Hevel will deliver the design, construction, and supply of equipment to the project.
The solar facility will generate up to 1.4 million kWh of electricity per year. The operation of the SES will reduce the electricity costs for the own needs of the Nizhne-Bureyskaya HPP, which will increase the useful supply of electricity and improve the efficiency of the HPP.
The project will use heterostructured modules of the new generation of 72 cells with a capacity of 370 W each installed over an area of about 6,700 square meters.
