Petroleo Brasileiro SA has started the divestment process for its biofuels unit Petrobras Biocombustivel SA (PBIO) in Brazil.
Petrobras will sell three biodiesel plants except for the stakes in BSBios (50%) and Bambui Bioenergia (8.4%).
PBIO supplies 580,000 cubic meters of production capacity and is considered as one of Brazil’s largest biodiesel producers.
