Pacifico Energy has started the construction of its 53.9 MWdc Sano Solar Power Plant located in Sano-shi in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan.
The project has secured financing from Sumitomo Mitsui Trust Bank with Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities and Baker McKenzie as the financial advisor and legal advisor to Pacifico Energy, respectively. juwi Shizen Energy has been appointed as the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contractor for the project.
Once operational, the facility can generate up to 62 GWh of energy. The project is expected to be operational by 2022.
