OX2 has commenced construction of the 40 MW Annopol onshore wind farm in southeastern Poland.
The Annopol wind farm is situated in the Gościeradów and Annopol municipalities in south-eastern Poland. The wind farm will comprise 10 Vestas V136 turbines and total production will be about 155,100 MWh annually. OX2 acquired the project in 2020 and finalized the development in Q2 of 2025. Construction is set to start immediately and will be completed in 2027. The investment amounts to more than EUR80 million and the wind farm will remain in OX2’s ownership once completed.
OX2 has also entered into a long-term debt financing agreement with Powszechna Kasa Oszczędności Bank Polski. The Annopol wind farm is the second project that OX2 has implemented in Poland under the Independent Power Producer (IPP) model. In July, OX2’s first IPP project, the 100 MW Rutki solar farm, began delivering electricity to the grid.
