OX2 acquires first 1 GW onshore wind power project in Australia

OX2 has acquired its first onshore wind power project that has a planned total installed capacity of up to 1 GW and also includes a battery energy storage system located a few hours north of Perth, in Western Australia. 

The project site involves over 20 landowners, and the original developers will collaborate with OX2 to manage the approval process following the acquisition. OX2’s Australian project development portfolio includes approximately 1 GW of solar projects and 230 MW of energy storage projects, located across Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland.
