OVO Energy and Ørsted sign power purchase agreement for 90 MW offshore Wind Farm

OVO Energy, the UK’s leading independent energy supplier, announces it has entered into a Power Purchase Agreement with Ørsted to buy green power from the offshore Barrow Wind Farm. 

OVO Energy will now purchase 100% of the power from the 90MW capacity Barrow Offshore Wind Farm.

By the end of 2021, OVO Energy is aiming to increase the amount of renewable electricity backed by UK renewable electricity generation to almost 40%.
