Ørsted completed 600 MW combined solar and battery storage project in US

Ørsted has the official commissioning of the 300 MW solar farm and 300 MW/1200 MWh battery energy storage system (BESS) Eleven Mile Solar Center in Pinal County near Phoenix, Arizona, USA.

The Eleven Mile Solar Center will generate enough energy to power 65,000 homes and store 1,200 MWh of power daily. It will supply electricity to businesses, homes, and Meta’s upcoming data center in Mesa, Arizona. With the addition of this project, Ørsted now operates 5.6 GW of onshore renewable energy globally.
