Orix Bank Corporation has provided a JPY3.1 billion (US$28.28 million) green debt financing to Renewable Japan Co Ltd to support the development and construction of a 45 MW solar photovoltaic project in the Niigata Prefecture, Japan.
The project will be built in Agano City and is expected to generate up to 47 million kWh of energy per year, enough to power about 15,700 homes annually.
The solar farm is expected to be operational before the end of 2021.
