NextEnergy Capital signs PPAs for 45 MW of solar projects with Shell

NextEnergy Capital Ltd (NEC), through its Next Power III fund, has signed a power purchase agreement (PPA) with the Shell Energy North America for two solar projects in Virginia with a combined capacity of 45 MW. 

The deal involves the 28 MW Briel Farm project in 18 MW Henrico County and the Gardy’s Mill project in Westmoreland County.

The projects are expected to be operational by 2020.
