Australian renewable energy company Renew Estate has been granted planning approval to build 120 MW solar farm in Bomen Business Park. The approved project includes a 40 MWh battery storage system.
Approximately, 36,000 homes with clean, green energy will be provided by Bomen Solar Farm enough renewable energy. The project will consist of tracking photovoltaic (PV) systems which will increase the energy generation at the start and end of each day when energy demand is high.
Construction of the project is targeted to start early, and by Q4 of 2019 the project is operational.
