Myanmar launches tender for the installation of distribution lines and transformers for Ayeyarwady and Chin

The Republic of the Union of Myanmar has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the National Electrification Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Installation of Distribution Lines and Transformers for Ayeyarwady and Chin. 

The Ministry of Electricity and Energy now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for Installation of Distribution Lines and Transformers for Ayeyarwady and Chin in the following locations.

The number and identification of lots comprising this bidding process are:

  • Lot 1: Ayeyarwady – 81 Villages
  • Lot 2: Ayeyarwady – 73 Villages
  • Lot 3: Ayeyarwady – 72 Villages
  • Lot 4: Ayeyarwady – 85 Villages
  • Lot 5: Ayeyarwady – 72 Villages
  • Lot 6: Ayeyarwady – 72 Villages
  • Lot 7: Ayeyarwady – 50 Villages
  • Lot 8: Ayeyarwady – 97 Villages
  • Lot 9: Chin – 7 Villages

The deadline for the submission of documents to participate in the tender is on June 29, 2020.
