Mubadala, GIP completes acquisition of Skyborn Renewables

Mubadala Investment Company and Global Infrastructure Partners (GIP) have completed the acquisition of the German renewable energy developer Skyborn Renewables. 

Skyborn Renewables, based in Bremen, is a clean energy developer that has constructed more than 7 GWh of offshore wind capacity to date and has developed projects in Germany, France, and Taiwan. The company is a former offshore wind unit of wpd offshore. 

Mubadala Investment Company is a sovereign investor that manages a diverse portfolio of assets and investments in the United Arab Emirates and abroad.
