Motor Oil Hellas has been granted permission by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to construct a 53.6 MW wind farm in Greece's East Macedonia and Thrace region.
The project will entail the installation of three smaller wind power plants, with capacities of 11.6 MW, 20 MW, and 22 MW, respectively. The entire complex will consist of 10 turbine generators, incorporating advanced technology from Siemens Gamesa and General Electric.
Motor Oil Hellas, established in 2021, currently possesses 772 MW of installed capacity and has obtained licenses for an additional 2,266 MW as per its latest financial report in 2022.
