The Ministry of Finance and Planning has invited interested proponents to indicate interest in the Installation of a 100 MW-150 MW Solar PV Power Generation Plant under a Design, Built, Finance, Own, Operate and Transfer basis in the Greater Male region.
This project, which includes battery storage to balance Solar PV supply and demand within the grid, is expected to contribute to the national electricity feed. It will encompass the design, financing, construction, operation, and maintenance of the facility. The Expressions of Interest (EOI) must be delivered in written form to the address (in person, by mail, or by e-mail) by 1400 hours (Local Time) on February 27, 2025. For more information click here.
