Lynher Energy has signed a Corporate Power Purchase Agreement (CPPA) with a UK-based FTSE100 company.
The agreement is structured as a sleeved physical PPA, supplying reliable solar power to the off-taker for the next 15 years. Lynher Energy will dedicate 100% of the output from the new 27 MW Twitch Hill Solar Park, expected to be operational by September 2024. Located on 36 hectares of unused grade 3b land in Shropshire, the design includes habitat creation, rewilding efforts, and grazing for sheep.
Ethical Power has been contracted for engineering, procurement, construction, and maintenance. Lynher was advised by Osborne Clarke, while the off-taker was advised by Amber and EY.
