Kibo Energy has entered into an agreement with Broomfield International Ltd to acquire a 100 MW solar photovoltaic project in Zimbabwe for GBP10 million (US$13.26 million).
The 100 MW ¡Victoria Falls Solar Park is located in the Hwange district and will be developed in phases of 25 MW. Starting with a 5 MW capacity, the project will be connected to the grid through the Hwangwe-Victoria Falls national transmission line in April 2022, and the 20 MW before December 2022.
