Buss Energy has announced progress on the 342 MW Kaskasi offshore wind project 35 km north of Helgoland, Germany.
The Kaskasi wind farm, currently under development in the North Sea, has now more than 50% of the turbine foundations already installed. The wind project will consist of 38 SG 8.0-167 DD Flex turbines supplied by Siemens. Buss Energy is responsible for handling, storage and terminal logistics of the 38 monopiles and transition pieces on the Buss Terminal Eemshaven.
Once commissioned, the project will generate enough power for the consumption of up to 400,000 homes annually.
