juwi Shizen Energy Inc. has completed the construction of a 20 MWdc solar photovoltaic power plant located in the city of Kesennuma in Miyagi Prefecture, Japan. The project has generated its first unit of power on November 2021.
juwi Shizen Energy has carried out the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract for the plant while juwi Shizen Energy Operation will perform the operation and maintenance (O&M) for the project. The solar plant its expected to generate up to 27.8 MWh per year of energy or about annual electrical power use of approximately 8,760 households.
