Juwi Hellas, the Greek unit of German project developer, Juwi AG, secured the 204 MWp Kozani solar project in auction. The project was awarded by the Greece’s Regulatory Authority for Energy (RAE).
The facility can generate up to 300 million kWh of electricity annually.
RAE has awarded 437.78 MW of power generating capacity in its recent mixed-technology renewable energy tender. Juwi Hellas has secured 47% of the total volume. The tender attracted bids ranging from EUR 53 to 64.72 per MWh. The weighted average amounted to EUR 57.03/MWh.
Juwi expects the start of construction and completion of the facility in December 2019 and April 2021, respectively.
