Juwi has started building a 204 MWp Kozani solar photovoltaic project in West Macedonia, Greece.
The EUR130 million (US$154.5 million) project is scheduled to be operational by the end of 2021 and is expected to generate about 300 million kWh annually, enough to supply power for up to 75,000 homes.
Juwi has secured the project in the state renewable energy auction in April of 2019 and sold the project to the future operator, the Hellenic Petroleum Group, in February of 2020.
