Juwi has completed the development of its 204 MW Kozani solar photovoltaic plant located in the West Macedonia region of Greece.
The solar park consists of 18 project sites and includes more than 500,000 PV bifacial modules provided by JinkoSolar. The project owner is Hellenic Petroleum, a Greek energy producer which acquired the solar park in 2020. Juwi will also provide service and maintenance for the plant. The project will deliver 320 million kWh per year, avoiding 300 MT of CO2 emissions.
The construction of the solar park took 18 months. The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) has provided three-quarters of the funds for the EUR100 million (US$108.9 million) Eurobond for the project.
