John Laing unloads stakes in 514 MW Aussie wind projects

First Sentier Investors (FSI) has executed its acquisition of John Laing’s Australian wind farm renewable portfolio, including John Laing’s stake in Victoria, 316.8 MW Hornsdale wind farm in South Australia, and the 112 MW Granville Harbour wind farm in Tasmania.

First Sentier Investors, formerly known as Colonial First State Global Asset Management, acquired the projects in a deal worth AUD285 million (US$201 million).

The transaction is expected to close in early 2021.
