CleanCo signs PPA deal with Neoen's 157 MW Kaban Green Power hub in Ravenshoe

Neoen has signed a power purchase agreement with CleanCo Queensland for the 110 MW portion of 157 MW Kaban Green Power Hub located 80 km southwest of Cairns, in Ravenshoe town, Queensland, Australia.

The AUD370 million (US265.84 million) project is scheduled to start its construction in 2021. The wind farm will consist of 28 turbines connected via a substation into the existing 275 kV overhead transmission line, with energy generation scheduled to commence in 2023.

The contract will enable Neoen to build the 157 MW Kaban Green Power hub project and deliver clean energy into Powerlink Queensland's transmission network.
