Neoen powers up 157 MW wind project in Queensland

Neoen has energized and connected the 157 MW Kaban Wind Project Hub in Far North Queensland, Australia. The wind farm now has 16 of its 28 Vestas V162-5.6MW EnVentus turbines fully installed.

The Kaban Green Power Hub, which is part of the Northern Queensland Renewable Energy Zone, is made up of the AUD373 million (US$241 million) wind power facility.

CleanCo will buy the entire project's output under a 15-year power purchase agreement (PPA).
