John Laing launches sale of 500 MW renewables portfolio in Australia

John Laing Group Plc has launched the sale of its renewable energy projects portfolio in Australia that has a combined capacity of 500 MW through the appointment of Macquarie Capital as its advisor. 

The portfolio includes the 58 MW Cherry Tree wind farm in Victoria, the 133 MW Finley solar farm in New South Wales, and the 112 MW Granville wind farm in Tasmania.

The company is not yet to initiate the formal auction for the assets in the coming months.
