Foresight Group, on behalf of funds owned by JLEN Environmental Assets Group Ltd and Foresight Solar Fund Ltd, has commissioned Anesco to build and maintain the 100 MW battery energy storage projects located in South West England and Scotland in the UK.
Anesco has been contracted to deliver all engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) works for the 50 MW energy storage project in the Dundee city in Melksham and the 50 MW energy storage facility in West Gourdie in Scotland. Anesco will also be responsible for the operation and maintenance of the projects for four years.
The projects are expected to be operational by 2022.
