Renewable Energy Systems (RES Group) has completed the sale of the 50 MW Roaring Hill Energy Storage Project located in Scotland, UK.
The project includes 18 battery units, which will be installed in two phases. Once running, the energy storage facility will provide stabilization of the grid and ancillary services to help balance the supply and demand.
The financial information of the deal was not disclosed.
