Jan De Nul Group have selected Tekmar Cable Protection System (CPS) TekLink Mechanical Latch for the 219 MW Northwester 2 offshore wind project in Vlaanderen region in Belgium.
Tekmar will be supplying their latest TekLink Generation 8 cable protection for all inter-array and export cable for the offshore project.
The Northwester 2 offshore wind project consists of 23 units of V164-9.5 MW turbines, which are expected to deliver enough electricity to power 220,000 Belgian homes.
