Greek utility operator IPTO is partnering with Sunlight, a unit of Olympia Development Group, to build a 20 MW/20 MWh energy storage facility in central Greece.
The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the joint development of the project will be signed in the coming days. The project will be built at a substation in the city of Thiva, northwest Athens.
The project is part of IPTO's pipeline of investment for 2022 to 2031.
