Metka awarded EPC contract for 200 MW of Kozani solar complex

The engineering and construction unit of Mytilineos SA, Metka, has been awarded the engineering, procurement, and construction contract for the 200 MW of the Kozani solar photovoltaic (PV) complex in western Macedonia. 

The 230 MW solar complex is currently being developed by PPC Renewables. Metka has started the construction of the 15 MW while Terna SA constructs the other 15 MW of the solar complex.

PPC is investing about EUR130 million (US$159.7 million) to realize the 230 MW solar project. It consists of bifacial solar PV panels.
