The Interministerial Commission for Strategic Investments has granted EDP Renovaveis SA and Ellaktor SA the approval to develop a 407.4 MW wind project on Evia island, Greece.
The project, with a budget of EUR489 million (US$592.1 million), will comprise eight wind parks, four in north-central Evia and four in south Evia Island.
Once operational, the project is expected to generate about 1,591 GWh annually.
