Interenergo, a subsidiary of Austria-based Kelag and Trigal, a joint venture founded by German asset manager KGAL, and Slovenian insurance company Triglav, has announced to build the 30 MW Gevgelija wind farm in Bogdanci, North Macedonia.
The project has an estimated investment cost of EUR40 million (US$46.85 million) and is expected to generate 72 GWh annually, enough to supply power for over 18,000 homes.
The project is expected to be operational by 2023.
